Osavul’s High-risk accounts labeling methodology is as follows:

Manipulative accounts

Methodology - Manual We analyze publicly available disinformation reports from credible sources, like NGOs and allied nations government insitutions. If any account is mentioned in this reports as manipulative or involved in influence operations, we will flag it as ‘Manipulative account’ and add the original report/investigation as a proof.
Methodology - Automated Our automated detection relies on 2 criteria:
  1. Osavul Threat Intelligence - a sources was amplifying narratives, that are flagged as threats in Osavul platform 3+ times.

  2. Connections to known high-risk accounts - an account continuously reposts or mentions other accounts that are high-risk. Methodology We analyze publicly available sanctions lists from Ukraine, EU, US and allied nations. If any media or individual that is sanctioned matches a sources in our platform, we will flag the source as ‘Sanctioned’. We will also put the link to the sanctions list as a proof.
